Ms. Schmidt has 25+ years business management experience, including business development, operations, marketing consulting and research development. After a devastating diagnosis in 2008, she found a revolutionary technology to help her recover from a multitude of physical impairments. As a result, she became a founding partner in Biosysco, Inc., where she has been instrumental in the design of proposed research studies, regulatory filings, developed training protocols, and a co-principle investigator in a research study at Auburn University. She’s served on the board of directors for 2 non-profits and is a patient advocate. Maria received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and completed SBIR proposal development training.
Dr. Ciaff enjoys an influential reputation in the fields of Neurology, Motor Neuron Dysfunction, Guillan Barre Syndrome, and specializes in Forensic Pathology applications. Dr. Ciaff is a certified Professor in London and has a PhD in Medicine and Surgery and an MSc in Medicine from the University of Rome, Italy. Dr. Ciaff created SigmaQ and has spearheaded development of several applications for the SigmaQ technology. He has also held senior positions with fortune 200 Healthcare companies around the world.
Mr. Schmidt possesses 30-plus years of executive management experience for both large and small organizations. Steve has worked in senior management roles with internationally recognized firms such as Honeywell, Steelcase and Comcast as well smaller, private organizations. He has developed and launched multiple products in several different industries. Steve is an active executive team member of Biosysco Holdings and an investor. Steve attended the University of Minnesota and Northwestern University – Kellogg Executive Management School.

Dr. Stout is a licensed clinical psychologist who brings a diverse background tailored to moving the research agenda forward. He has both an impressive track record of publications and presentations, along with entrepreneurial experience in various healthcare enterprises, and FDA approved research studies. He founded ATI’s Sport and Health Psychology Internship, as well. Stout is also a Clinical Professor in the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and a Fellow in their School of Public Health; he has held an academic appointment in Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and was a Visiting Professor at Rush University. He was appointed by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce to the Board of Examiners for the Baldrige National Quality Award. He holds the distinction of being one of only 100 worldwide leaders appointed to the World Economic Forum’s Global Leaders of Tomorrow – joining the ranks of Tony Blair, Jody Foster, Bill Gates, and J.K. Rowling. He was
an Invited Faculty at the Annual Meeting in Davos, and has also been invited to work with the Club de Madrid and Safe – Democracy.
Steve serves as principle and independent consultant for health care initiatives. Focus includes executive coaching and mentoring, financial assessments, strategic planning, identification of organizational conflict and resolution, and patient safety improvements. Clients include government, private sector organizations, and international relationships.
Dr. Lovely Krishen is an experienced R&D manager with a background in technology management, research and development, and training for industry, government, and academia. As a Technical Lead and subject matter expert in Risk Management and Life sciences and mitigation technologies, her previous research experience has primarily focused on: Systems – level Safety, Reliability, and Quality Assurance, Human Health, Environments and Safety Risk management for Human Space flight programs at NASA. She holds a bach elor’s degree in Physics (Biophysics Option) from Rice University and a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences/Biophysics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at the Texas Medical Center in Houston.
Dr. Ranajee brings 25+ years of experience in the areas of marketing, sales, business development, communication, global client operations and strategy to companies specifically in health and health IT. She has been employed and consulted with a wide range of clients and industries, including Pfizer, Edelman, Discovery Channel and Performance Health Systems. At Edelman she eveloped Edelman Light, to help to create affordable PR/Marketing services for a start – up Health Tech companies. As President of Healthcare sales at PHS she was responsible for a 510k medical device distributed in 93 countries. She developed tools to message the luxury, medical and consumer market for the same product and helped to expand sales to over 100 million. Dr. Ranajee was instrumental to creating the initial branding and expression of Hx360 – the Executive forum for Health by HIMSS and AVIA. Dr. Ranajee received a BS in Marketing/Finance from the University of Illinois – College of Business Administration, an MBA in Marketing & Finance from Loyola University, and a Ph.D. in Public Health from Commonwealth University.
Mike Gapski is the most tenured Athletic Trainer in the NHL with over 32 years experience. He is considered by his peers as the gold standard for athletic training. Mike received his undergraduate degree in physical education with honors from the University of Illinois -Chicago in 1982. He stayed at UIC for five years, serving as an assistant athletic trainer and head trainer for the final two years. In 2011UIC awarded him a Lifetime Achievement Award. Gapski was honored to serve as an athletic trainer for the 1991 and 2003 NHL All-Star Games and for Team Canada at the 1991 Canada Cup. Holden MacRae, Ph.D., is a Professor of Sports Medicine in the Natural Science Division at Pepperdine University. He received his B.A. in Physical Education and English from Stellenbosch University (South Africa), M.Ed. in Kinesiology from the University of Texas and a Ph.D in Physiology from the University of Cape Town Medical School (South Africa). His research is in the area of exercise metabolism and the science and neurobiology of sports performance. He has consulted on and been a co-investigator on research projects related to aging issues, elite athlete performance, as well as military performance. Hold en is an Advisory Board Member of Biosysco Holdings, Ltd.
Jim Allivato is a licensed and board-certified athletic trainer who brings over 20 years of experience as a leader in the occupational health industry. Prior to ATI, he was a principal in Corporate Health Solutions,Inc. where he specialized in health care cost analysis and onsite medical management solutions for organizations in both public and private sectors. Jim created CNA Financials postural training program and onsite rehab center and was the former head athletic trainer for the Chicago Wolves Professional Hockey Team. He is currently an active member of the Employment Law Committee and WC Task Force of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. Heis also a part-time clinical instructor in the Athletic Training Program at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. Jim has been a speaker for the OSHA VPPPA Region V, National Safety Council, Wisconsin Safety Council, National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and many worker’s compensation seminars in the U.S.
